I’ve just found a sneaky little feature that will your business SEO ranking and I am going to share it with you in this quick tip. Either watch the video below or scroll down for the old fashioned text version.
When it comes to SEO you need to use all the tools available to you to get your business found online. Today’s tip is one of those little things that won’t rocket you to the top of search results but it will edge you ahead of your competition.
One of the options for your video is video location. I know what you might be thinking, this is where you write where your video was filmed. But if you have set your business up on Google My Business, look what happens when you type in your business name, yep you can tag your business.
You can either do this when you are uploading by clicking More Options and scrolling down (see below), or you can find it in your YouTube Studio in the edit video page under ‘More Options’ (see above).
How does this help your SEO?
Google loves content, if you are consistently releasing content under your business name it shows Google that you are an active business and they will start pushing you up in search results. As YouTube is owned by Google you are literally directly showing Google that you have fresh content.
It won’t make you jump to the top of Google search results but these little things help.
Just remember that you need to set up Google My Business first but don’t worry, this is really easy to do, just give it a Google.
